(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 12. The Rev. Father McNamara, S.M., haa resigned the offices of Vicar-General and Administrator of the Catholic Parish owing to ill health. The Polhill Gully Range Commissioners inspected the Evans Bay range this morning, aud iv the afternoon took the evidence of Lieut. -Colonel Pierce and Major Newall, who stated that owing to the proximity to town Polhill Gully was a suitable range, and was not dangerous to residents unless they trespassed.
