« TO THE EDITOR. "Sm, — Will you allow me to correcb a small misunderstanding which might accrue from the reading of your criticism of my last night's performance. Your notice mentions that I said in my speech "thatlnvercargill audiences, although apparently pleased and delighted with my entertainment did not show their appreciation in so enthusiastic a manner as in Australia."
