I. W. Raymond reports baring conducted his first stock sale at the Wyndh.myardsonThurs day, 12th inst. a large tntry of cattle were forward, and the quality all round was superior. The attendance of buyers and others was good, and without exception the most successful cattle sal* so far b*ld hereabouts teok place Fat bullocks (small) brought L 7 7s : three and Mar year old bullocks Lb 16e ; and three year •M IA 18$ ; gpeyad coira went to hi ; dry cows liS 8s ; dairy cows were neglected ; but notwithstanding that I report all description of cattle in demand* The United Farmers' Agency Co, report having held their fortnightly sale at the InvercargUlyardsonthel7tn inst. Saeepskins, Hides, Ac — On Monday we cleared a good catalogue ; best dry well woolied Bkias at 5*4 to 6*3 per lb ; h ; ne hair, Is j hides, 8s 6a to 7s ; tallow, 16s 6d to 16s and rough fat lls 9d per cwt ; calfskins at Is 6d to Horse Market— On Satnrday we had a full entry of all classes and a good Bale. BeH draughts sold up to L21 10s ; others to Ll6 10s and emaller aorta Ll4 to Lls.;Uackß sold at from Ll4 to L 8 for medium to goad. 6. Froggatt reports on the markets for the week endig 20th inst;— I had a large catalogue of hides, sheepskins, wool, etc, on Monday, and again the bidding was spirited, and although prices were not quite so high as last week.
