Evening Sitting.
The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. The Coal Minesjjßill was considered in committee, Mr O'Conor being in the chair. The amendments made were of a verbal character and the bill was reported, read a third time and passed. T*Mr J. McKenzie moved thatall the amendments made by the Legislative Council in the Land Bill be disagreed with. — After considerable discussion thia was agreed to aud a committee appointed to draw up reasons. The House rose at 1.35 a.m.
