From this it is bettered that this Teasel, which was a screw ■taataerof 1281 ton*, has foundered daring the h»ary gale* which ha e prevailed off the coast taiag the last few day*. The Taramung wan •emmanded by Captain John Page, »ith wh m Wat associated Peter-on,( chief oflicer) an 6c U (■econ-i officer). Jn th« engine room wre Cree (chiff esgibfier), VcEenzitt (second), and Bob n•on (third). 1h« names o! crew are— Scott, Humphries, Lardon, Tipper, Cairns, Hdd e, Hwb, no, Joj nstoo, Sestork, Gil es^ie VeParlane, Uume, Anderson, Poilock and Coona. The weather is etili boietitons, and there is no sign of its clearing np. The on.y p- ssenger on board of the steamer Taramnag was a Min Hose who was retaining %-j Melboarne owing to the death of her father.
