On Saturday night Mr Boers, telegraph lineman at Tophouse, got off the train at Hope station under the impression that ifc stopped there a few minutes, but seeing it move ofl he ran to get into the last car and fell between it and the platform. He received a compound fracture of his left leg which was also somewhat crushed, but he is progressing favourably, and the doctor is confident of saving the limb. A young man named Fred Clark had a leg broken and sustained other injuries by the unexpected falling of a tree he waa crosscutting.
