SYDNEY, Jan. 11. Received 12th, 12.30 a.m. The output of coal at Newcastle last year shows a decrease of 473,000 tons as compared with 1889. MELBOURNE, Jax. 11. Received 12th, 12.30 a.m. The Colonial Treasurer considers that the money market is favourable for borrowing, and is making the necessary arrangements to place a three million loan in the market as early as possible.
