The Railway Dispute.
TO THE EDITOR. SiX, —In further justification of the opinions I have given expression to regarding the personnel of the executive officers of the railway union I ask you to publish the enclosed brief excerpt from to-day's Otago Daily Times, after digesting which I would suggest to my friend "A Member of A.S.R.S." to place it in his calumet of peace and after thoroughly inhaling the soporific fumes thereof pass it on to his fellow-union-ists for their delectation. Here it is — "I learn that Mr W. J. Ed wards' letters to the Commissioners which were published in the papers last Saturday, were not even posted till the following Monday (as the post-mark clearly shows), and did not reach the Commissioners till to-day, four days afeer they had appeared in the public prints. This seems a peculiar method of dealing with correspondence of such a character." — I am, &c, Unionism not Tomfoolism. 22nd May.
