I quote first-class draughts LlB to L 24 ; medium, Ll6 to Ll7 ; light, LlO to Ll2. Hacks were in demand and cold from L 6 to LI 3. * Cattle — it the Corporation yards on Tuesday there was a very large entry of store cattle, mostly farmers' lofe. The demand was slack and prices lower than for some time. Yearlings Hold from 20s to 31s ; 2 year old steers and heifere, 32a to 40f ; 3 year old steersj up to L 4 183 6d. Bheep— About 130 D penned, mostly hoggets, which were well competed for and sold from 10.* 2d to 12s; crossbred ewes and lambs, 83 4d to 9b lOd ; merino wethers, 7s 9d.
