Momentous.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Seeing iv a cablegram from London that Her Majesty is about to ask the House of Commons for an allowance of L 25,000 a year to her grandson Prince Albert Victor of Wales on his completing his marriage, would you kindly inform me whether any of the descendants of King John or William I. of England has any legal clahn upon the Imperial Government for marriage settlement, as it appears to me that a hundred generations or nearly, seem to claim on the purse of poor John Bull. — I am, &c, A Man in Want.
