AUCKLAND, July 1, A remarkable ontrage occurred on Satnrday at the homa of tbe Little Sisters in Shelly Brfach road, where a man namf.d Michael Ryan, who had been one of the inmates, revisited tbe institution with a knife in his hand. At a meeting of the Hospital Trustees to consider the new Hospital and Charitable Aid Bill tbe trustees generally objected to tbe control of. the local hospital being vested in the Borough Council, principally on the ground that as tbey had by judicious conservation of their funds a sufficient revenue from interest, rents, and endowments to pay their way without voluntary contributions itwae-thoughttb'e expenditure might be unnecessarily in creased without any corresponding benefit accruing ; it waa however deoided to call a conference of all tbe local bodies in terested to discuia the matter.
