A short time ago a telegram forwarded from here narrated the circumstances under which -Hub-superintendent Gilbert, of the Napier Fire Brigade, laid claim to a clock won by a team of the brigade some years ago. He took tho dock away and he invited tho brigade to take loyal proceeding* to teat his claim, but ultimately it was agreed to submit the matter to arbitration.
