KENSINGTON.
There was a fair attendance at tbe meeting of houaeholdere for the election of a committee. Niae gentlemen were nominated, and a ballot having been tafeen the undermentioned were declared duly elected :— Messrs R. Ooupl'ind, R. Craig, J. Crombie, B. Edwardß, aod J. H. Dawson (re-elected), and D. Warnock and J. Kinnaird. The new committee afterwards held a meeting when Mr J. H. Dawßon was chosen chairman. — As the tree plantiug season is at hand tbe committee decided to call for tenders for trenching some ground round the fences preparatory to having it plaated with hardy shrubs.
