The catalogue comprised 10,100 bales. For greasy merinos prices ruled £d to Id lower than at the close of last auctions, and for scoured merinos prices are l£d to 2d lower. The eeriee coses on the 16th December. The committee of the Imperial Institute have invited the Agents-General to meet for the purpose of discussing points on which a disagreement has arisen. These include the question of control of the different Courts, which the Agentfl-General claim. The Dukft of Cambridge is taking an active share in promoting the Adelaide Exhibition. Consols bavo fallen i, and are quoted at at 1011. New Zealand 5 per cent. 10-40 loan, £ higher, 102 ; 4£ per cent. 5-30 loan, unchanged, 99f ; 4 per cent, inscribed Block, unchanged, 97.
