Yesterday afternoon a fire broke out at Tanoi, near Adaett's mill, a number of , the houses occupied by the mill hinds being destroyed with the contents. Some bush lately felled by Bailey Bros, was also burnt. Adsett's mill was Bayed by the greatest exertions. Upwards of a mile of the tramway and a quantity of fencing were destroyed. A shift in the wind was what actually saved the mill, which is only partially insured. The insurances on the dwelling houses are unknown.
