The War in the Principalities
(BEUXEK'S TBLEGBAMS.) London, Deo. 12, The Times this morning states that Russia, Austria, and Germany have agreed to abandon the demand recently forma lated by them for the restoration of status quo ante in the Balkan Peninsula Deo. 13. Both Bulgaria aod Servia have en* yoked the aid of the European Powers with a view to the settlement of hostilities between the two countries, and the Powers have appointed commissioners to demark a zone dividing their territories, and to arrange a four weeks' armistice. Despite this, however, King Milan reports officially to the Powers that the Bulgarian troops made an attack on the Servian outjpoflt yesterday. An account of the _; engagement , farther states tbat after , sorere fighting the Servians iielod^ed the i Bulgarians from their position at Velikizvor, killing and wounding many of their number. •"- • - |
