Captain Moir, of the barque Clifton, reports having left Port Chalmers on Saturday, 20th June, with light northerly winds, which shifted on Sunday to the southward, and freshened to a B'rong breeze, carryin g the vessel back to Taiaroa Heads, ■ where she came to an anchor. Left •gain on Wednesday morning, with a light wind from the north,- which, fell away shortly after•wards till 4 o'clock same day, when it again sprung up from tame quarter. Passed the Mnggets on Thursday at midnight, and breasted Waipapapa Point on Friday afternoon where she was again becalmed.
