Mr Waterston's barquentine Gazelle arrived at the Bluff ;.oii Saturday afternoon from Brisbane, with 20 tons of sugar and ballast: Gapt. Wigmorej who is in charge, reports having left Brisbane on the 15th ult. ; crossed the bar at 4 a.m.,.and 4 cleared OapeJMoreton Heads by>noon. Had light northerly and N.E. winds for the first few days, and on Dec. 30th and 31st had a strong B.K gale, Sighted Milford Sound on the Ist inst., and had Eght easterly winds up to the 3rd at 7 a.m. "whenishe got a light air from the B.W, •which brought her through the Straits.' When off the Bluff got -a light easterly wind, bat the tide being, strong ebb was forced to drop anchor under foot till' the flood made when she sailed tip to the wharf, and berthed at 10 p.m. The Gazelle .as usual loots clean and neat, and redounds to. the credit of her chief officer, Mr Wright Captain Wigmore is an old trader to the Blaff : in the brigantine Mary Cummings.
