The Rirgarooma, Captain J. Tozer, from Melbourne direct, arrived at Bluff at 7.30 am. yesterday. She left Melbourne at 6 p.m. on the 80th ; experienced fine weather nntil the evening of the 2nd, when she encountered a strong 8 W. gale and heavy beam sea to arrival. j The temporary lull in the weather yesterday morning enabled the barques Automne, Lord of the Isles, and Northern Bslle to take tbeir departure. The wind freshened from the southwest in the afternoon and would prevent them getting to the westward through the straits, but as there eeems little probability at present of a fair wind coming for them, they cannot do much worse than going to look for one. The well-known brig Drover, built at Aberdeen in 1846, has recently been sold to a Cook- i town firm for £350. The barque Vanguard has been seized at Brisbane by the owners of the Farningharu, pending action which has been brought in the Vice-Admiralty Court, to recover damageß for the lo6a of the latter vessel by collision.

(By Telegraph.) Auckland, Aug 4, The e.B. lonic, which arrived tc-day, brings 4718 tons of cargo for all ports. She commenced discharging at once, and is expected to get away South on Thursday. The passengers are m good health. She brought no Government immigrants.
