T.ie acting manager (uot manager), Stockhouse, was tied to a tree with his head enveloped m a pillow-case. Two men entered the bank, while two others, who were armed, guarded Stockhouse for two hours. He was then released. His watch and money, which he had on him, were not taken. The cash m the bank at the time of the robbery was unusually largo, owing to its being pay day at the mines. BRISBANE, July 25.
