Sold ! — A. contributor to one of the Queensland journals relates the f oliowing story from Roma :— ' A notorious cattle duffer was run to earth and prosecuted by Mr Brands-inspector Armstrong, who is a perfect terror to evildoers of this class. A. perfect beauty he proved to be— the envy of all the Bomans, the best horse of the district; But a few days sgo the proud possessor of that horse was served with a summons for horsestealing.
