This Dip is unrivalled for the complete destruction of Ticks, jjj^i^^^T^^^^^j Lice, and Parasites, with their eggs, of every description infectB~ ing the skin of sheep, cattle, and o' her animals. It haa gained the highest reputation, for it possesses the double advantage of simultaneously repelling contagion and cleansing the skin from filth. • -' •: IT DOES NOT DISCOLOR THE WOOL Or act injuriously upon the natural Yolk of same, but feeds th ,. fleece, maintains the natural lustre, and wonderfully promote its growth. The great risk incurred by introducing newly ; purchased stock amongst healthy animals already on . the runs may be avoided by using this Dip. This Dip is not an arsenical or sulphur dip— both so, : detri mental to the wool— but composed of ingredients (glycerine being one) which all tend to benefit the animal and the wool, and these ingredients are mixed by new powerful steam machin cry, so that a thmough consistency is always obtained One dipping with this Dip (m mid <£&.«* will rata tbfi trreat inconvenience of dipping twice, as is the case with other Dips. lold inTuni I gall, 5 P-U-, and 10 gall. ; single drums, 5s gall. Messrs Tomlinson & Haywabd. . . Dear Sirs,-We have this season dipped over 7000 young sheep, both Merino > and Longwool, with your Glycerine Dip, and are very well satisfied- with the result as the dippinghas killed not only the ticks and lice but their eggs as well. We consider it far superior to any of the Colonial manufactured, or any other Dip that we have tried ; one great adyantagi that it has over other Dips is that it seems to dissolve instantaneously. Ihe contents of a 10-gallon drum can be dissolved m warm water m two minutes, avoiding all the delay that is met with m mixing other Dips. We shall use your Dip m future every jew for aU our Sheep, and we can strongly recommend it to any one for its simplicity, rapid action, and perfect freedom from, any noxious ingredient. . * ........ We are, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully (Signed) BOYES BROS. N.Bi— The Colonial Dip referred to m the above letter was that manufactured at Invercargill. R gUTT()Nj fiBQ Garryowen, Southland. I prefer the New Glycerine Dip to any of the several Dips I have used. My experience being that sheep dipped m this Glycerine Compound are m a much safer and heal hier state than generally Jesuits after the use of arsenical preparations. I can further testify to the generfl usefulness of this Glycerine Compound for app ication to the skin of every animal on the farm requiring cleansing. I consider this new Dip an undoubtedly good one either for AT THE LATE public trials of nine different Sheep Dips at Hawkes Bay, the Judges report as follows :- At the Isecond examination on the 18th October, we found the sheep dipped with Tomlinson and Hayward's (Glycerine) free from parasites j the wool m good order, &c.,&c.-F«fe Hawkes Bay Herald January sth, 1884 N B —The above is the judges' report of the actual result of the Glycerine Dip, after their using it TO OUR DIRECTIONS, which Mr Fitzroy's friends m Hawkes Bay did not do, therefore Mr Hatch might have saved himself the expense of the untruthful circulars issued by himself at the late Agricultural Shows during the absence of the writer, trying to injure the sale of the Glycerine Dip, which is yet to the front, and the manufacturers use every effort to give the flockmasters of New Zealand the most perfect Dip obtainable, and far supefior to that of New Zealand manufacture, having ; greater facilities for doing so with their extensive plant of machinery, and the advantage of home markets. J, HATCH; Esq., Invercagill. - - : - .mm --■ Dear Sir, — Last May I used y« ur Composition for dipping my Corner-Bush sheep. After finishing shearing, about the of November, my manager reported the wool as " light, soft, silky to the touch ; no stained fleeces, and the sheep absolutely free from ticks or lice, and m excellent condition." I shall certainly use your Dip again this season. Yours faithfully, ■ John Reid. Barewood Estate, 21stJanuary, 1884. J. Hatch & Co., Invercargill. Sir,— Wilson's Colonial Dip, supplied by you last April, has given me every satisfaction. It is easily dissolved and mixed with cold water, and although the weather was very unfavorable for dipping when 1 used it, I had no loss. Its action was so effectual that hearing the sheep were perfectly clean, and the condition of tbe wool was all that could be desired. I shall use no other this season. J. R. Bbodie, Manager.
