In the matter of a Bill entitled "Au Act Empowering the New Zealand Shipping Company, Limited, to alter its Memorandum of Association ." Notice is hereby given that the New Zealand Shipping Company, Limited, intend to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at the sitting to be holden at Wellington m the month^)f June next, praying for leave to introduce a Bill to be entitled '• An Act to Empower the Hew Zealand Shipping Company, Limited, to alter its Memorandum of Association." By the said Bill it is intended to empower •the said Company, by special resolution, to alter the Memorandum of Association of the said Company, and to extend the power thereby given to the said Company of borrowing and raising money to the borrowing and raising of money on the uncalled capital of the Company, whether by means of debentures or otherwise.
