Mr Kinross's Tactics.

♦ TO THE EDITOR. g IBr _In reading in this morning's paper the account of maeting of County Council I see Mr Kinross thinks be i^sat upon, but the fact is, Sir, the members have only done what is right, inasmuch as Mr Kinross has always got before his eyes the East Bead or any other road in the Lindhurst Boad district, but cannot see any other portion of the riding. lam a poor settler, living on a district road for over twenty years, and yet cannot get anything done. It was only a few years ago that Mr -Kinross got several hundred yards^ of gravel put on the East road which in a short time was ground into powder, and then blew into the ditches and filled them up. But it made an easy drive to come into town. Mr Kinross's friends are trying to get up another meeting for the same purpose ; but he won't get into the Council next time, bo they need not trouble themselves. I hope the member will take particular notice. — I am, &c, Ratepayer. Bth February, 1884.
