NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
" Hammer Thrower " — We do not know what is meant by the restriction you mention. For that, you should apply to the secretary of the Society. The practice, we know, has been " to swing the hammer like a ppndulum," as you describe. Owing to a variety of circumstances we find at present an unusual pressure on our space, and must ask the forbearance of our correspondents if their communications do not receive immediate insertion.
