Owing to Numerous and Repeated Applications for Land in the TOWNSHIP OF WAVESLEY, WILLIAM TODD has received in- ' ' structions from the vendors to sell On SATUEDAY, the 23rd CURRENT, At 7 p.m., The whole of this township, consisting of 249 Sections, containing 2 Aches, 1 Acke, and 1 Half-acre respectively. As this is an opportunity that will not occur again of obtaining a good homestead at a lower reserve than any township offered by the Government, bona fide settlers are invited to inspect, and aftend the sale, and all who buy will probably wish they had secured more, even-as an investment. The township is situated about twenty minutes' walk east of Woodend, and its position is unsurpassed as a town site, being principally terrace land, with sufficient bush to'meet the requirements of settlers. The streets are one chain wide, and give easy access to every section. The soil is deep and first-class in. quality, and a fraction of the labor • expended on it that is required to' clear bush,! would oaake it capable of growing, anything' that this climate can produce. ;; ; As the scenery is varied and picturesque, i the locality healthy and convenient to to\yn,i by rail or road, it must become popular at an J early date for subnrban residences.- i The proximity of the mills will enable any of the employes in that neighborhood to: select a hoTie, and the depasturing advan- ' tages in the district are greater than in any \ other place near Invercargill. - ; Pull particulars auot plans be obtained, from the auctioneer. Invercargill, at 2 o'clock sharp, that delightfully situated and superior agricultural farm, known as MOUNT FAIRFAX, Comprising about 1240 acres, more or less.
