«. . TO THE EDITOR. Sin,— A correspondent, " Bluff," takes exception to a remark in my report of the match I. C.C. v. Campbelltown C.C. I stated there that the I. C.C. Committee should have put at least three or four first eieven men in the team " Bluff" thinks that this was done. For his information, therefore, it may be staled that of last season's first eleven, only one player took part; in the game in question. This season's first eleven has not yet been selected. "Bluff" thinks credit should be given where credit is due, and this surely has been done, for the report in question speaks in rather flattering terms of the visiting team It could not speak of the I. C.C. team as representing the strength of their clnb, for that most assuredly they did not do. They were, however, deemed strong enough to defeat the C.C.C., and tho visitors deserve groat credit for the success they achieved. It would be meritorious for a club with little more than a dozen members to snatch a victory from a purely second eleven of a club like th 3 I. C.C. tint is sixty or seventy strong. — I am, &c, LONGSTOP,
