Wild Boy, Overdraft, Robin Hood, aud Don Jose also .started. Don Jose parted company with his rider. Agent won rather easily at the finish.

Maiden Plate, of 50 Soys. Goodman's Violin

McKay's Aurora 2 Dodson's Miss King Filly ... 3 CJontessa was favorite, but was only fourth. Violin won by two lengths.

St. Andrew's Handicap, Sweep of 3 soys., with 200 added— Two miles. Mason and Vallance's Turqoise 1 Sir H. Robinson's Lady Emma 2 D. Kirby's Adamant ... .. 3 Betting 6to 4 on Lady Emma. Turquoise won by a length and a half — Time, 3 mm. 45 sees.

Selling Handicap of -10 Soys, McKay' Aurora Stephenson's Eugine

Diosma assumed the lead at the start, and was never caught, winning by a short neck from Poet, Kakapo being a good third ; Rorie several lengths behind. Time, 2 mins. 27£ sees. A. protest has been entered against Diosma on the ground of foul riding. Hurdles.
