Shanks & Barr (in conj unction with Messrs Green di Souness), will hold a sheep sale at Elbov, on Tuesday, Soptember 12 G. F. Martin has polled Angus bulls for private sale. Moir, Johnson & Co. will sell furniture, pianos, harness, ifcc. by auction to-day. Particulars are advertised respecting Crown lands to be sold by auction on Tuesday, October 3rd. An election of three councillors for the Borough of Carnpbelitown, will take place on Thursday, 14th September. The Queenstown Borough Council invites tenda-s for the construction of a bridge. Macleod Smith has a house to let.
