«. Wednesday, 30th Aug. (Before Messrs Perkins and Todd, Js.P.) BYLAW CASES, At tho instance of the Inspector of Nuisances for the Borough, 0. Foster was fined 5s for having an unregistered dog in his possession. — W. H. Ford for a straying horse pleaded that the tether of" the animal had been wilfully cut. A fine of 5s was inflicted. — A charge against a little boy for setting fire to tussocks was withdrawn by the inspector, and in two cases in which the defendants were charged with wheeling barrows on the footpath, the nominal fine of Is was imposed ; the Bench intimating that future offences of the same kind would be vigorously dealt with.
