THOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL PROPOSED LOAN OF £13,000 Public notice is hereby given that a Poll of the Burgesses of the Borough of Invercargill will be taken at the Council Hall, Kelvin street, on Monday, the 9th day of February, 1880, for the purpose of deciding by vote the proposal of the Council of the Borough to borrow the sum of £13,000 for the purposes stated in the advertisement published in each of the local newspapers, once in each of the past four weeks, and considered at the Public Meeting held at the Theatre Royal, Conon street, on the evening of Friday, 30th, January.
