A number of Russian students have issued a proclamation to the effect that they will struggle even to the death against the Government. NEW YORK, Feb. 2. The American Press generally condemns the views of Mr Parnell, M.P., as expressed in his recent speeches. WASHINGTON, Feb. 2. The latest news from Afghanistan states that it is rumored that Ayoub Khan has been defeated by Ibrahim Khan, who opposed the Shere Ali dynasty. The. Ghilzais are committing frightful outrages on the natives supposed to be favorable to the British. It is reported that they have massacred 200 families, and destroyed many villages.
