The Sarah and Mary began discharging yesterday morning, making fair progress. The schooner William and Jane continued discharing throughout yesterday, and will probably be all out to-day. Up to Monday evening the Albion Company's ship Jessie Headman had received the following cargo :— 917 bales wool, 62 do , rabbit skins, 2460 cases preserved meats, 980 sacks oats, 38 casks hides, 7 bags horns, and 1 bale hair.
. - (BY ELECTBIC TELEGRAPH.) Post Chalmers, Dec. 9 Arrived — Hawea, s.s., from the North; Arawata, s.s., from Melbourne, via the Bluff and Hobart Town. , , * Wellington, Dec, 9. We hear from Wellington that in consequence of the P. and O, steamer leaving Melbourne on the 26tb,instead of the 27th inst., it will be necessary to despatch the Rotorua from the Bluff on Friday evening, 29th, just a day ahead of time table.
