Claud Hamilton, Captain Calder, with two race horses, Le Loup and Trump Card, for Lyttelton, 9 head of prize cattle for Dunedin, and one valuable bull for the Bluff, left Melbourne on the 18th November at 4 ]i.m., and arrived at Hobart Town on the 22nd at 9 p.m. Sailed the same night at 11 p.m., and arrived at Bluff on the 26th at 5.30 p.m. Experienced strong easterly winds to Hobart Town, thence to the Bluff for the first two days, moderate" easterly' winds followed by a heavy south-east 'gale, which lasted three days.
