Intending exhibitors are requested to communicate as early as possible with the Local Committee, giving particulars as to nature of proposed exhibits. Catalogues - containing regulations and system of classification adopted by the Sydney and New Zealand Commissioners, may be seen in InvercargiU at the Chamber of Commerce, the Athenaeum, and Working Men's Club; at. the Riverton Athena-mm. and at the Town Clerk's Offices at Winton, Campbelltown, Tapanui, and Queenstown. The Local Committee urge the collectionbf the foUowing articles, viz : — Gold, Grain, Grass Seed (1 measured bushel), Flour Meal, Pearl Barley (251bs), Wool (6 fleeces, &c, as per special Wool Schedule), Coal' (section of seams, samples), Timber (series of uniformsized samples, sections with the bark on and one face polished, the ofher being left in its natural state, specimens to be not longer than 3ft., except in the case of samples illustrative of the extreme growth to which particular trees attain), Flax(dressed fibre in 501b bales), Rope and other manufactured articles, -; Tanning Barks, Leather, -Preserved Meat (six tins of each kind, and 101b samples), Cheese (whole cheese of any size. 141bs in aggregate).
