A CONTRADICTION.
-—$ Editor Times, — Would you kindly afford me an opportunity of contradicting the evidence given by Mr Eose in the case Rosev. Breunan. I never- told Mr Rose that I required money for the purpose of paying my debts in Dunedin, for the obvious reason that I was not indebted to any person there. I may further say that I deny any statement made in the witness box .by Mr Rose. As the matter is still undecided, I shall say no more at present. — Yours, &c, koms Y«*cent Brendan,
