Dean ie thus ait present il marks , , a-head. The Rev. Mr Paterson has not yet, valued the Latin papers, but as Dean is strong in this subject, it is expected that the result will give" him a still "greiHer"" superiority. The contest has been a close one; and the neatness as well as the general excellence of the. papers do the athletes the, greatest credit. It is iO'ibd regretted that there were-so few competitors, but we have no 'do dot that when this scholarship is again. vacant, which will be for two years, there will be a better heat in it.
