RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Henry Claujield, — This man, who hal been sent to the <;uol because he was seriously suffering from the effects of about of intemperance, was brought up, and at tho suggestion of Inspector Fox, remanded to the Hospital. Edward Clark, alias IFi/liams, a colored man, was charged with stealing, on the L3th instant, a doir, the property of Henrietta Kiug-uand, value £1 10s. ll.iving hcarj evidence, liis Worship sentenced the prisoner to two months' impnajnment with hard labor.
