ABRIVED. March 25. — Omeo, s.s., from Nelson.
The s.s. Lord Ashley left Auckland on the 16th inst'., at 4.30 p.m. ; arrived at Napier on the 18th inst., at 4 p.m. ; left at 7.30 p.m. ; had a N.W. gale to Wellington,' arrived on the 19th inst., at 7 p.m. ; left on the 2lst T inst.,' at 8/aitu. ; arrived at Lyttelton on the 22nd inst., at 4 a.m. ; encountered a heavy head sea ■ left on the 22nd inst. at 2.30 p.m. ; encountered two heavy southerly gales and tremendous sea ; hove to\ twice ; arrived at Port Chalmers ,on the 23rd inst., at midnight; left on the 25th inst., af 6 p.m.; heavy head sea throughout the passage ; arrived at the Bluff at 2 p.m. on the 27th inst.
