THE LOCALITY OF THE FIELD.
Is between Mount Hamilton and the Braxton. The prospect found, about three pennyweights, was taken from the bank of a creek running into the Aparima, being the labor of a half-day by panning. The distance from the accommodation house is about six to eight miles to the Hamilton Burn. The road from here will be by the North Road to Barnhills, thence westward round the north end of the Moonlight Ranges, crossing the Aparima to the south end of Mount Hamilton, or via Wallactown . to Yellow Bluff, thence up the Valley of the Aparima.
