MASTERTON SPORTS. R. W. Lamb, the Australian cycling crack, Avon the mile and a-half invitation scratch race at Masterton on Saturday, beating T. Oakley by a wheel; time, 3 min. 39 l-saec. In the twomile handicap, T. Oakley was the winner, with L. Baker second and Lamb third; time, 4min. 49 2-ssec. The three mile handicap was won by P. Harrison (150 yards), with Lamb (scr.) second and T. Oakley (scr.) third. Tho mile handicap and the two-mile handicap for Wairarapa riders were both won by H.
