AIRPLANE MOVIE THRILL.

DORIS KEiNYON CRASHES. About the last ‘ thing .hi realism is provided bv an airplane smash in which thrill Doris Kenyon, famous movie star, is the central figure.^ In “The Unguarded Hour,” a First National picture, coming to theMaorilaiid Theatre on. .Wednesday-, Miss Kenyon has the role of a madcap girl, whose pranks lead her into some awkward corners.. * The smash referred tot results on her decision *o pay au exliaitfed fainilv a visit without invitation or ceremony. Chartering a plane, she sets out, "instructing the pilot to make good time. Suddenly she sights the house she intends visiting, but the sudden message to descend confuses the pilot, with, the result -that a massive radio aerial gets in the way. The resultant smash provides a thrill indeed, and one that is done with amazing realism. , , For the most part “The Unguarded Hour” theme is highly dramatic, with no less a hero than Milton Sills in the leading role. But there is just a Sufficient blending of comedy to temper the more gripping situations. The smash, however, does not deter Miss Kenyon from, participating in further pranks, and incidentally, her caprices succeed in winning over a case hardened woman hater. ' There is a. strong domestic angle in “The Unguarded Hour” in which ai)e revealed some amorous complications .that lead to a surprising andartistically treated climax. “WILD HORSE MESA.” ZANE GREY’S GREAT STORY O'F WILD HORSES.
