FOUND IN THE RIVER.
YOUNG WOMAN’S FATE. WAIiPUKURAU, May 10. Following a .search party’s efforts nil last week, the' body of Thelma. . Fanny White, 23, daughter of Mr E. White, a leading Porangahau settler, was found in tire Porangahau I river on Saturday afternoon a. few charing below a bridge, about five miles from the township and 1J miles from her .parents’ homo. She left a note stating: “Please forgive me. You will find me in the river.” j The evidence at the inquest showed that deceased had good health and no known troubles. She had not slept, in her bedroom after being seen by her parents and sister at. 10 on Sunday night and was discovered to be missing at 6 on 'Monday morning. A verdict that she committed suicide i whilst temporarily insane was reI turned.
