Increase in State Control Votes OHINEMUM GOES WET. The outstanding feature of the Licensing poll has been the considerable gain of State. Control, evidently at the expense of boith Continuance and Prohibition. One no-license area, Ohinernuri, which includes the town of Paeroa, has also declared for restoration by the necessary three-fifths majority. The latest totals corrected officially up to this afternoon give the following results;— Continuance 261,112 State Control 50,276 311,388 Prohibition 283,316 Adverse Majority ... 28,072 Five returns to come. 1922 RESULTS.
