At the Magistrate’s Court at Palmerston yesterday, before Mr J. LStout, iS.M., Whiter Kennedy was charged on three counts: U) “that on or about January 20, 1923, at Shannon He did steal two. motor coils, value £1 Bs, the property of the Shannon Meat Co->; (2) that on or. about March 12, 1923, at Shannon, he did steal one acetylene generator, value £1 10s, the property of •Turnbull Cooper; (3) ’ that on or about September 21, 1922, at Shannon, he dull 'Steal one: motor battery, value £5, the property of Gordon Grey Mitchell.’ The accused pleaded guilty and elected to be dealt with summarily.
