Brisbane, August 25, The stock returns for last year show a surplus over consumption of cattle 540.000 head. 141,000 were frozen, and 130.000 exported alive to southern markets. 25,500,0001bs of meat were frozen and over 5,500,0001bs preserved. The number of sheep in the colony at the end of the year is given as 21.500,000.
