The New Zealand Loan.
(By Telegraph, j AUCKLAND. August 26. Tho petition for the liquidation of tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company which came before the Judge in Chambers yesterday, was made by a friendly creditor, and the application lodged on behalf of the company for the hearing of tho petition to he postponed for a month, was to enable the company to complete arrangements for reconstruction, which it is understood are progressing satisfactory.
