The Germans are denounced for having likewise introduced Stnndism into Russia, “ a dangerous German sect” accord* ing to the Panstavist writers, the greatest plague that has ever cursed the country. The Germans have created and directed this Btundist movement, not so much from its resemblance to Lutheranism, as because it is calculated to weaken the national feeling of tbe Russian people, and help forward the ambitious political designs of Germany.
