Mr Hobert Watson, Minister o£ Public Works in the Manitoba Government in the course of an interview, said that the wheat crop of the province for 1893 promised to be unusually good. The outlook is splendid. I The sowing season waa late, but the young crop has not suffered on that account. Mr Ohipohase, the Hudson Bay Company's Comnmaionep at Winnipeg, sibo added : —*■ Whila it is rather early yet to form an accurateopinion with to crops in the northern parts of the territories, I may say that sowing has been completed everywhere, and that the Wl ll eqnal, if it does not exceed, thatof 1892. Farmers and business men arai generally satisfied with, the outlook.”
