FOOTBALL.
UNION V. POINT. The flag match between the Union and Point, was played yesterday at the Point, and resulted in a win for the visitors by 11 points to nil. Tries were obtained by Btrachan, P. Fox, Shewan and Peattie, T. Stephen converting one. Besides the abo*e mentioned Gerity, Shrimpton, Anderson (2). Passmore and Thompson played well for the Union, and
Sitnisor’. Golds!one, Hobbs, Uosse*!, and Mc Auliff (2) played the best for the Point. Mr F. Hobbs acted as referee, and gave every satisfaction.
